  The unique properties of this species of wood make the EnduraShake resistant to all forms of decay, including termites. The EnduraShake will withstand exposer to weather without warping, shrinking, swelling or splitting. In addition, EnduraShake has natural resins that are non-flammable and non-volatile, which provides a natural resistance to fire.  
 
 
 

Class C

The EnduraShake has a Class C fire resistance rating
through testing performed by SwRI to ASTM E108 Spread
of Flame, Burning Brand, and Intermittent Flame tests
standard indicating the level of recognized resistance.
SwRI is a Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) approved

Class IV
The EnduraShake has been thoroughly tested by the
approved methods dictated by the Texas Department of
Insurance. This product maintains the highest rating,
Class IV, impact resistance testing as performed by the
Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) Laboratory, to the
UL2218 impact standard. The high strength properties of
this particular wood ensure Class IV hail resistance.

200mph +
The EnduraShake was also tested by the (TDI) Texas
Department of Insurance approved Laboratory,
Architectural Testing Inc. for Windstorm resistance using
standard ASTM E330. Results indicated, when installed to
South20 standards, the roof will withstand winds in
